This monograph focuses on the systematic and exhaustive -to the extent possible- presentation of the jurisprudence of the bodies of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) related to the protection of civil rights, while in order for the scientific approach to be complete, there is a comparative overview of both the corresponding international conventional protection of civil rights beyond the Council of Europe, at a regional (Organisation of American States, African Union, League of Arab States) and at a universal (United Nations) level, and the constitutional protection of civil rights within the framework of the Greek legal order.
