Human rights in times of illiberal democracies: Liber Amicorum in Memoriam of Stavros Tsakyrakis

This Liber Amicorum is a small sign of respect for the memory of Professor Stavros Tsakyrakis for his unique contribution in the fields of both human rights and political philosophy. This volume includes contributions of prominent academics, judges and professionals from Greece and abroad. The contributions focus on three specific areas, prevailing in the scientific work and public interventions of Professor Tsakyrakis, in which his legacy is valuable: the principle of proportionality, freedom of expression, and, lastly, the values underline modern democracies.
