Today, 13 February 2024, the ECtHR’s judgment in the X. v. Greece case was published. The Court concluded in that Greece had violated a series of procedural guarantees for the victims’/survivors’ protection, while there existed serious deficiencies for the avoidance of their secondary victimisation. Consequently, the Court found that articles 3 and 8 of the ECHR had been violated.
