Our Work

Since its establishment, the MFHR has organised many events on human rights issues and has edited various publications and researches.

On an annual basis, the Foundation financially supports training and research on human rights and holds its own Chair with the Summer School of the René Cassin Foundation.

Moreover, MFHR’s Library, which is being constantly enriched, is a very useful tool for all those working in the field.

The Foundation remains actively engaged in public dialogue and has repeatedly submitted observations and comments on draft laws and administrative acts, while at the same time it has presented its proposals towards a more effective human rights protection.

Furthermore, in the context of its collaboration with schools and other educational institutions, the MFHR not only participates in informative events and campaigns on human rights, but it also organises visits of students and teachers in its headquarters, for them to get familiarised both with the MFHR and its work, as well as to be informed on current issues regarding human rights.

Since the cost of legal aid and assistance may sometimes be a burden for one to claim respect for their human rights, the MFHR offers such legal aid and assistance, free of charge, and without any discrimination, to anyone in need.
