It is a pleasure to inform you that today the new book of the President of the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights, Mrs. Elli Yotopoulos-Sicilianos, entitled “VENETOCRACY IN THE IONIAN ISLANDS. The case of Corfu”, was published by the “Hestia Publishers & Booksellers” (Athens, 2023, p. 287, in Greek).

The said book is an important and original piece of work, since it is attempted, for the first time, in bibliography to reconstruct the Venetian colonial policy in Greece, as well as its impact on Greek society, the institutions, the culture, the education, the defence and the economy.
