ARMENIA V. AZERBAIJAN – INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE
On Monday morning, 30 January 2023, the oral proceedings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Armenia's application for provisional measures against Azerbaijan began.

More than 120.000 individuals of Armenian origin remain completely isolated in the Nagorno Karabakh enclave without access to medico-pharmaceutical treatment, food, electricity, heating, as well as other basic goods.
Armenia requests interim measures by the ICJ in order for the blockade of the Lachin corridor -which consists the only way to access Nagorno Karabakh- to be waived, as well as Azerbaijan to cease putting obstacles in the orderly food supply, heating and provision of basic goods to the said persons.
The video recording of the interventions of Armenia’s legal team, in which participate MFHR’s Vice President, Professor Linos-Alexander Sicilianos, and Dr. Konstantinos Salonidis is available in this link. Professor Sicilianos’ intervention starts on 54:50.
