ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 2020 MFHR AWARDS
The Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights (MFHR) announces, for the 14th consecutive year, a competition for the conferment of three (3) prizes and three (3) commendations to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Greek and/or Cypriot universities for the best original essay on one of three topics.

The Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights (MFHR) announces, for the 14th consecutive year, a competition for the conferment of three (3) prizes and three (3) commendations to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Greek and/or Cypriot universities for the best original essay on one of three topics.
This year’s topics are the following:
- Topic no 1: “Developments in the Cypriot Issue in 2019: political and legal dimensions at an international level”
- Topic no 2: “Protecting civic space and fundamental rights”
- Topic no 3: “The integration of migrants and refugees: pluralism and multiculturalism under a Human Rights lens”
The essays shall be sent online until Monday 4 May 2022, following the guidelines set in the announcement.

The conferment of the awards will take place in June 2020 in the MFHR’s Library.
